MULTIrep X5X - IP67-Certified PROFIBUS Repeater

The new MULTIrep X5X expands the existing MULTIrep portfolio with an IP67-certified repeater that is specially designed for use outside of control cabinets or terminal boxes.

With the MULTIrep X5X, existing PROFIBUS networks can be easily expanded and flexibly structured in a star configuration—without the need for additional terminal boxes or control cabinets. A single segment can be expanded to up to five galvanically isolated segments. This makes the network structure more stable and robust against interference.

As with the proven MULTIrep repeaters, integrated fault isolation is also implemented here: If a fault occurs in a segment, it is automatically isolated. The spread of the interference to other segments is reliably prevented. This significantly increases system availability and greatly simplifies troubleshooting.
