PROFIBUS Industrial Wireless | Radio Data Transmission BLUambas®

The wireless system BLUambas® provides wireless data transmission in fieldbus systems PROFIBUS or PROFINET. Mobile plant components or machines can simply be integrated into the network communication. That's why BLUambas® is the perfect alternative for slip rings and trailing cables since mechanic wear is impossible. As seen from the perspective of the controller, the wireless system based on Bluetooth acts like a cable.

BLUambas® for PROFIBUS ensures a transmission speed of up to 1.5 Mbps. To build up a Wireless system, one BLUambas® controller module and at least one BLUambas® I/O module are required.

The WIRELESS technology for PROFIBUS or PROFINET is available in IP20 and IP65 protection.

Antennas and adapters are not included and must be ordered separately.

BLUambas® PROFIBUS Classic

A PROFIBUS radio link can be established between a controller module and a maximum of one I/O module. A maximum of four PROFIBUS devices can be installed behind the radio link and with up to 1.5 Mbps.

BLUambas® PROFIBUS Comfort

A PROFIBUS radio link can be established between a controller module and a maximum of four I/O modules. A maximum of four PROFIBUS devices can be installed behind the radio link and with up to 1.5 Mbps.

BLUambas® PROFIBUS Premium

A PROFIBUS radio link can be established between a controller module and a maximum of eight I/O modules. A maximum of four PROFIBUS devices can be installed behind the radio link and with up to 1.5 Mbps. In addition, PROFIsafe communication can be transmitted.
