PROFINET Test Access Points (TAPs) provide permanent, non-intrusive diagnostic access to your PROFINET/Industrial Ethernet network without disrupting communication or requiring production downtime. These passive network monitoring devices enable real-time traffic analysis, protocol troubleshooting, and performance monitoring using tools like the PROFINET-INspektor® NT at strategic locations throughout your PROFINET infrastructure. Available in IP20 for control cabinet installations and IP67 for harsh field environments, TAPs support both routine preventive diagnostics and rapid emergency troubleshooting.
