InduSol America
+ AVEVA
AVEVA tells you what the process is doing. InduSol tells you whether the network carrying that data can be trusted. Together, they give manufacturers reliable process insight and clear visibility into the industrial networks that deliver it.
Integration Coming SoonWhat Is AVEVA?
AVEVA is a global leader in industrial software and part of Schneider Electric. Its portfolio spans engineering, operations, and industrial data management, including AVEVA PI System, AVEVA System Platform, and AVEVA InTouch HMI, which industrial organizations worldwide use to collect, contextualize, historize, and visualize operational data.
At the center of that portfolio is CONNECT, AVEVA's industrial intelligence platform. CONNECT brings process data, assets, applications, and partner data sources together in one secure environment, giving engineering, operations, and maintenance teams a shared, trusted view of plant performance across sites.
Benefits of Using InduSol America and AVEVA Together
AVEVA sees process and asset data, but every value it receives travels over a PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, or PROFIBUS network first. Industrial networks rarely fail all at once. A connector works loose, a cable degrades, a device starts repeating messages, and none of it shows up as a fault until a line stops. InduSol adds the network layer, so teams can trust the data AVEVA depends on.
Catch Faults Before They Stop Production
Packet repeats, frame gaps, and rising jitter appear days or weeks before a node drops. Permanently installed INspektor® NT analyzers catch those early symptoms, giving teams time to plan a repair instead of reacting to a stoppage.
Data You Can Trust
A dropped value or a stale reading in AVEVA is often a network problem in disguise. Continuous network monitoring confirms that the communication layer feeding your process data is healthy, so decisions rest on reliable information.
A Named Device and a Documented Cause
Instead of "communication fault," each INspektor® finding names the affected device and carries a probable cause and recommended action in plain language. Maintenance technicians can act on it directly, without waiting for a network specialist.
Complete OT Stack Visibility
AVEVA covers the process and asset layer. InduSol covers the network those assets communicate over. Together, operations and maintenance teams see the full picture, not just the application layer.
Passive, Non-Intrusive Monitoring
The INspektor® NT listens to the network alongside the controllers and never sits in the path of control traffic. Your PLC programs are untouched, your cycle times are unchanged, and your AVEVA architecture stays exactly as designed.
Built for Mixed Networks
Mixed estates are the norm: a modern AVEVA layer sitting on PROFIBUS segments installed decades ago, alongside newer PROFINET and EtherNet/IP lines. The INspektor® NT family measures all three the same way.
Two Layers Working in Parallel
AVEVA and InduSol operate at different layers of the industrial stack and complement each other without overlap. AVEVA collects, contextualizes, and analyzes process and asset data. InduSol monitors the health of the network infrastructure delivering that data.
AVEVA
Industrial data management, analytics, and visualization through CONNECT and the AVEVA portfolio. AVEVA turns plant floor data into operational insight across sites and teams.

Network Infrastructure Tools That Support Your AVEVA Deployment
PROFINET-INspektor® NT
Permanent, always-on monitoring for PROFINET networks. Measures signal quality, network load, and device communication status continuously, with alerting when parameters degrade.
EtherNet/IP INspektor® NT
Continuous network health monitoring for EtherNet/IP environments, providing the same permanent diagnostic capability for facilities running Allen-Bradley or other EtherNet/IP devices.
PROFIBUS-INspektor® NT
Permanent analyzer and condition monitoring for PROFIBUS networks. Continuously measures signal quality and device communication health, bringing the same always-on diagnostics to PROFIBUS environments.
PROmanage® NT
Centralized monitoring platform for managing multiple INspektor® NT devices across a facility or enterprise, with consolidated alerting and network health reporting.
Common Questions
Does network monitoring require changes to my PLC program or control network configuration?
No. The INspektor® NT is a passive analyzer mounted in the panel. It listens to the network and never sits in the path of control traffic, so there are no controller logic changes, no added cyclic load, and no reconfiguration of existing devices.
On PROFINET and EtherNet/IP networks, the INspektor® NT connects through a passive network TAP (test access point) that copies traffic in both directions to the analyzer without using a free switch port. We recommend the PNMA II, which keeps network communication intact even if its power supply fails.
On PROFIBUS networks, an APKA II active programming cable runs from the piggyback port on the PLC's PROFIBUS connector to the PROFIBUS-INspektor® NT, so the network is monitored without interrupting any segment.
Do I need AVEVA to use InduSol diagnostics?
No. The INspektor® NT has its own web interface and reports on its own. Pairing it with AVEVA matters when you want network health and process data working together.
Which networks can the INspektor® monitor?
PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and PROFIBUS, each with a dedicated INspektor® NT model. InduSol also offers INspektor® models for AS-Interface and EMC monitoring. Those work as standalone diagnostic tools and are not part of the upcoming AVEVA integration.
How many devices does one analyzer cover?
One analyzer monitors one master system or segment. Plants typically start with the segment that has caused the most downtime and expand from there.
How long does a pilot take?
Hardware installs in an afternoon. Meaningful degradation trends usually become visible within the first few weeks of continuous measurement.
